Starbuck was my favorite, like a lot of people, but I wish they'd have given both Boomer and Athena more to do. And Bojay was also sort of interesting. My love of Fred Astaire, though, made Chameleon really awesome to me.

I get that way about some 70s/80s music and I think it's because I subconsciously connect the songs with my childhood. When I was a kid, my parents would frequently have the car radio on whenever we went places, so I probably heard a lot of that music, over and over again.

IMO sexualizing kids would generally be a bad thing regardless of what was in the original source material.

I have no idea whether that's happening in the fandom - I'm not familiar with the fandom, and if it only involves aging characters up, that's a different thing. But what I am saying is that I don't think OP's logic holds universally true, you know? There are still things that would be objectionable regardless of how mature or R-rated South Park is (and also, no matter how annoyed you are at Tumblr).
