I have a low threshold for second hand embarassment... aka I try to avoid the discussions and half the meta. I'm just as annoyed by the "Kylo Ren did never anything wrong in his life and everyone was always mean to him!" people as I'm by the "Forever irredeemable space Nazi" people. :/ (I can see both reasons for liking and disliking or even not caring about him, but both sides are SO EXTREME.).

The other day I saw someone literally say that Kylo Ren didn't do anything wrong and I thought they had to be kidding... but they weren't. I would say I'm a fan of the character, but that's just ridiculous.

(There is some fantastic Reylo art out there though.)

I'm having the opposite fandom. I want to be in it. I ship Kylo/Hux a lot and don't mind Rey/Kylo either. But this fandom is giving me bad flashbacks to Harry Potter, so I'm staying far, far away.

I am pleased for you, OP. I don't really know anything about this fandom but what I do know is that I'm 30 too and I used to have so many fandoms and everyone used to be so active - I loved it but god I miss it now. Wish I could find such a great fandom NOW like the OP has. You can really sense the happiness in this secret - good for you, OP! :)

I remember when I was into Reylo for like... a week.
Call me shallow but all that fanart of Kylo looking like Snape traumatized me and now I can't unsee it.

I think I prefer it if Kylo kept the mask on permanently.
