Meh, the salty shipper tears are entertaining enough. I don't see much of the antis because I don't go into those spaces. Only here where the shippers cry.

Yeah, the anti stuff has ruined what would otherwise be a very entertaining (and possibly an instant classic) ship war. I prefer ship wars that are endless squabbling over completely subjective and pointless things like whether or not the ship has chemistry.

I just don't get ship wars. I'd rather focus on the ship I love than obsess over a NOTP.

I guess the annoyance comes from being bombarded by stuff you don't want to see? But same.

I like the movie a lot and I like the characters but I don't like them together romantically

So when I talk about the movie (which happens because I like the movie), a lot of those discussions are either directly about Reylo, or indirectly influenced by people interpreting the movie through a Reylo lens

so a lot of TLJ talk just ends up being Reylo-oriented

Same. Even though I really dislike my fandom NOTP and how popular it is, it just makes my love for my OTP stronger. (And motivates me to write all the things for it.)

I hate fanart that makes the guy so much hotter than they are.

Is Kylo's mouth really the size of half of Rey's face like in that picture? He looks like he's about to unhinge his jaw and swallow her whole.

He doesn't even look like himself. There's a lot of good Reylo art out there but this ain't it.

I dunno, I can’t be the only Reylo anti (I still have trouble with anti as a noun but eh) who just hates Kylo but is meh-to-neutral on other Rey ships. And presumably there are Kylo stans who don’t ship him with anyone but hate Rey—although I hope I never meet any. And it’s not like I think Rey is a lesbian or asexual; I wouldn’t mind if she was, but my hatred of Reylo has jack squat to do with my shipping a rival ship and everything to do with my utter loathing for Kylo Ren. I’ve managed to not ship any pairings in the new SW movies and still gain (my second ever) NOTP. What side am I on in the Rey-ship wars?

After a comment regarding Reylo art looking like Snape and Hermione a few secrets ago, this is all I can see. And I'm a Reylo/Reylux/Reyux shipper. I just can't under it, lol. Thanks, anon.

I haven't watched SW and am not going to, and I don't even like Adam Driver. That said, the antis are so absolutely batshit insane, with threats by people like lesbianrey or whatever her handle is to kill Adam, that I am firmly on the side of the shippers.

You can't let the crazies win, guys & girls! Your kink is okay! This stuff is just fiction, let's all stop sending death threats, m'kay? And maybe arrest the people who do.
