So long as you're still hitting rl goals like eating properly and your air-and-sunlight ration, just enjoy the buzz. Somewhere on the internet someone is weeping with joy that content for their favourite minor character is turning up.

Maybe use all the practice you're getting to play around with a few new techniques. And have fun!

Hopefully your art & technique improves that once this character loses his "shine", you'll have applicable skills!

Additionally, if you're concerned about annoying people etc. by continuously posting X character art BUT you want to share it, how about creating a side art blog or Tumblr or w/e? Dedicated solely to this character? I've appreciated niche blogs like that, and I'm sure others have too. Plus, you can occasionally drop the blog's name I other posts of your main blog, even if you update the side blog frequently.


Enjoy! I also know the fervor of wanting to capture someone's likeness endlessly. Sigh.
