Re: How often do your ships become canon?

I have a weird thing with canon shipping. American TV due to its long seasons and over reliance on unresolved "sexual tension" (translation: characters acting like idiots) almost always inspire a serious NOTP in me. I loved that Brooklyn Nine-Nine resolved that and started moving the relationship forward pretty quickly. Feature films are slightly more tolerable.

A chunk of my shipping usually involves in-game relationships, which are either there or not. I also do some heavy slash and crack, so not canon. (Except in the case of Tony Stark's Tight Pants, who really was the leading underappreciated character of Thor: Ragnarok.) A large chunk of my Star Trek: TOS watching right now involves spotting the innuendo and weird sexual tension, like Spock getting slapped around by Chapel and M'Benga.

Or Kirk being really appreciative of the back rub that Spock gives him.

Don't think I've seen that.

I got it slightly wrong. Kirk is just thinks Spock is giving him the back rub. It's from the being of 'Shore Leave' in the first season.

Yep. A sure case of 'Why was that filmed?'. :)
