I haven't ever played the games so I can't attest to how 'bad' they are in comparison to the games, but I very rarely watch any adaptation with the expectation that it's going to be perfect/100% the same.

I'll probably still see the new one because Alicia is hot, the action looks fun, Dominic West, and Daniel Wu are hot as fuck too.

There's nothing wrong with liking a certain body type. Feeling entitled to have female protagonists conform to that body type if it has nothing to do with the story is different. In other words, I'm with you, OP, but for different reasons.

I'm not convinced that massively redesigning this character in this way is a great idea.

That said, Lara Croft is a wealthy, high-born, highly educated adventurer, and you think her boobs are the basis of her sex appeal? Well, yeah, for some guys. But I think old-school Lara Croft was awesome because of her competence and strength. If that persona comes through with a new visual design, great. If they lose her character, it doesn't matter what they do or don't do to the design.
