Spock, in "Poses," the sequel to the legendary story "Shelter" (both by Leslie Fish; go look her up on Fanlore):

What he found was definitely abnormal: the protective petals were relaxed and half opened, the two anchoring tendrils were partially extended, the modulated shaft was almost fully emerged and the whole apparatus was hypersensitive and... sticky.

which led to the recent silly BS re: Klingons.

I think Fish went with plant-like structures for Spockanalia because of the green blood.
