I definitely agree with you about the earlier ones, but the later ones seem more accessible to fandom to me. e.g. Frozen

Possibly because the main characters don't automatically ride off into the sunset to get married any more. Which isn't a bad thing.

The Disney kink meme was one of the best and funniest times I've ever had in fandom. Highly recommended!
