I've always loved the book The Little Prince but the idea of fanfic for it makes me want to curl up in a ball and die.

(I didn't even watch the movie on Netflix though I might change my mind about that.)

Well, not all fanfic has to be rated anything more than G.

Fanfic of the Little Prince exploring the world with his Fox friend and planting flowers could be a thing.

True, I should not go around assuming fanfic couldn't be sweet and innocent. All the same I don't think I'll go looking for Little Prince fanfic.

The animated series of The Little Prince is essentially Little Prince fanfic. (If more...procedural than a lot of fic.) Definitely not as melancholy as the book:
