I had a pretty big and lengthy werewolf phase and I can't say this ever bothered me. What DOES bother me is when the idiots in charge of the film think that a canine's knees bend backwards, and show the human's knees breaking during the transformation. Come on people, it's basic phylogeny. I learned this shit in grade school. All the limbs of a human are analogous to a wolf, just different lengths. In this case, a wolf's "feet" are much longer than ours, and they walk on their toes. Their knees aren't fucking broken.
