I didn’t notice it in Buffy, but MAN was it evident in Dollhouse. She was a good blank and a decent bad girl, but she just could not pull off the other types of characters that show needed... which was made worse by how awesome Dichen and Enver were at slipping instantly between any persona. Dance, Kiki, dance!

Yup. I still enjoyed Dollhouse, but Eliza was not the right actress for that role.
