I don't necessarily hate it (and I like coffee shop AUs), but I get kinda bummed out when I get into a fandom late and there's no one who wants to discuss episodes or theorize what's gonna happen next.

Discussion and squeeing over things is usually what bums me out about being late to a fandom. Then exhausting the fic if there is no new fanmade content.
