For me at least I 100% get why Trish is acting like she is, like I find it believable(if stupid) that she blunders as much as she does in s2 because she's had such a messed up life and has some really toxic notions about her own self-worth from a mixture of growing up as a child-star and with how awful her mum is.

However, it doesn't make her any less aggravating to watch as she royally screws things, and other people, up and I just dunno how I feel about her anymore tbh.

Agreed. Narratively speaking, it makes sense. But I really dislike watching it and it's decreased my overall enjoyment of season two a lot.

Yeah, I get how the OP feels because before I finished s2 I was like 'yeaaaah Hellcat!!' but now I don't know if I even care.

Just ugh.

I liked the Jessica+her mum dynamic though, that was really fun and saved most of s2 for me as well as Jeri being Head Bitch In Charge.

Yeah. I assume that there's going to be some kind of redemption arc for Trish maybe next season. But honestly, I'm not sure if I can make it through that. I'm just...so over her and her problems.

I feel you on this so hard tbh.

Disagree on Jeri. I hated her arc - even though the resolution was pretty satisfying, the lead up was part of why I only finished the season the other day.

Jess and her mother were fun, though.

Oh I meant that I liked watching her go around being Head Bitch and refusing to back-down, not that her arc was something I really liked. The end of it was satisfying but watching her during it was a bit eeeh because I was waiting for the fall.

Seeing her manipulate Inez at the end was both amazing and terrifying though.

Fair enough.

Seeing her manipulate Inez at the end was both amazing and terrifying though.

Seriously.

Yeah...it's a HUGE character flaw, but it's a character flaw that is entirely understandable from her back story.
