Weirdly, they're probably the two characters (besides Frank, who chooses to live the way he does) who could live a more normal/successful/independent/healthy life if they really wanted to. Sometimes I feel like Mac and Dennis have more serious issues and kind of tether each other/the rest of the gang down.

Not that I particularly want to buy Mary Berry's house but I'm so bloody glad to finally see a fandom secret about something I know about. I fucking love Mary Berry and I love my boring British programmes, esp cookery shows. I'm 30 going on 60 and it's great. Only problem is that I haven't got a fucking clue what 90% of fandom secrets are about these days. Bastard Star Wars and so on.

What now? I think A LOT of people don't like her at all and (like me) probably only watch for the Malec. Granted, a lot probably won't admit that because of the fandom.

Hell, I can only stand to bring watch the show while drunk because the main characters annoy me.

Also, I'd not call Clace as anywhere near as popular as Malec. It has 1300 vs 11000 fics and is behind the pairing of two side characters (it is only a little ahead of Simon/Jace).

For me at least I 100% get why Trish is acting like she is, like I find it believable(if stupid) that she blunders as much as she does in s2 because she's had such a messed up life and has some really toxic notions about her own self-worth from a mixture of growing up as a child-star and with how awful her mum is.

However, it doesn't make her any less aggravating to watch as she royally screws things, and other people, up and I just dunno how I feel about her anymore tbh.

I don't think the impact of that scene was about the surprise. I knew going in and it didn't ruin anything for me. That scene was about the emotions, about Moana understanding and feeling compassion and her inner strength. It was about healing (for both of them).
