oh yeah she is the most glaring case of a mary-sue i've ever seen, and i don't like to throw that term around much because fandom has kind of ruined it, but it totally fits with her. she can literally do everything in a matter of days, like okay.

though her dad was also a villain-sue so i guess it runs in the family.

i don't full-on hate her, but the writing around her is def inexplicable a lot and she just gets away with almost anything. she tasered LUKE FFS. same with jace tbh, his character flip-flops all over the place depending on what the episode needs and neither of them ever really grow in a way that's particularly meaningful.

they're both dead-weight and i'd rather get more magnus, izzy and maia time. i'd say alec too but he gets a decent amount tbh.

I LOVE the actress playing Maia! She feels like a real person. a real person you'd actually WANT to spend time with. She's 100x better than the Clary.

have you seen her smile or laugh? i would watch it on repeat for hours, she's so fucking cute.

and yeah agreed on that, shes a much better character and one i'd rather watch, her and simon are really cute too, my second fave ship on the show.
