Yeah, I love reading nitpicking reviews of popular books but really don't like them for fanfic. It feels really mean-spirited and malicious in a way that writing a nasty review of Harry Potter or The Hunger Games or whatever doesn't.

Ugh. Even back in the day that I thought it was important to mock bad fanfic I drew the line at leaving nasty reviews. (Now I just don't care at all.)
