TBH, Mako wasn't even that big of a character in the first film. Fandom led me to believe she was the main character, but it was mostly about Stacker and Raleigh.

I only think this is true for small fandoms or small communities. Maybe that's what LJ is like now, but back in the day fandoms were huge and I didn't know anybody in particular except for my mutual Friends.

Mass Effect 1-3 good games (or at least acceptable, ymmv)
Dragon Age 1-3 two goo games (or at least acceptable, ymmv)), one that was pure unadulterated trash

I say Mass Effect has the upper hand.

I... kind of agree? But I also feel like the character has changed more than Mulder has, so it's a slightly different challenge for her, compared to Duchovny.

Also I guess my expectations for nu!X-files are really low to start with so it doesn't bother me so much.
