Okay, looking back at it thanks to this secret, I'm realising that when I first watched the OT, kid!me was picking favourites for reaalllly shallow reasons. Mostly, who was prettier and cooler. And Han kind of didn't make the cut? My favourites were always Luke and Lando. Specifically RotJ Luke and ESB Lando. RotJ Luke because wow he was pretty in black, and ESB Lando because roguish space prince in a cape. The betrayal-and-redemption plot on ESB Lando didn't hurt either, because apparently even baby!me had a thing for that. I think Han, by comparison, was just too rough-cut and bland for my tastes?

And, okay, looking back those were fairly shallow reasons, admitting that straight up, but I kind of think I stand by them even now. Luke and Lando all the way.

You make me want to watch RotJ & ESB for purely shallow reasons. I never watched the orinigal SW movies, so inspiration. thanks, anon.
