I enjoy the show and dip into the fandom, but I don't see any AoS fans harassing the actors or writers, or having giant conspiracy theories about shipping or whatever (looking at you, various other fandoms like Supernatural or Sherlock or Teen Wolf...) I'm pretty happy with a fandom where "overinvested fan" is just someone who talks about this show as the best show ever.
