Listen, OP doesn't have to do anything, obviously, but if they're choosing to send their fic to certain people based on some specific standard, I feel like it's reasonable to say that I think their standard doesn't make sense. OP could send out their fic completely randomly, and that'd be their prerogative but I would also think it wouldn't make sense.

That's not entitled. You just have a chip on your shoulder.

I don't think they mean that being confused by OP's behavior is entitled, just that they think that OP's behavior is only unfair if you believe that readers are entitled to fic. If you believe that no one is entitled to fic, OP's behavior is odd but not unfair.
