Mashed potatoes, with a little cheese and broccoli. Also soup, probably because I only consume it when I'm sick so I associate it with that.

chocolate cake

hard: my mom's chicken noodle soup. it takes all day, including making my own noodles, but there's something very particular about the flavor that can't be done any other way.
