For context, Tidus is depressed.

Yuna: "It's embarrassing to say this myself... But summoners and their guardians are kind of like Spira's ray of light. A lot of people in Spira depend on us. I learned to practice smiling when I'm feeling sad, you know? I know it's hard."

She says to try smiling, then laughing. Tidus forces laughter for a while, Yuna joins him forcing laughter, then they themselves find it stupid and ridiculous and start laughing for real and feel better.

So yeah, it's a bunch of people not getting that a scene that was supposed to sound forced, sounded forced.

Isn't Yuna the depressed one? It's been over a decade since I played it (holy shit I'm old) but I don't remember Tidus being depressed.
