(Anonymous) 2018-04-15 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)I get it’s supposed to be forced. I still think it was cringy and a little over the top. Though I think the main reason was that FFX was the first one where voice acting was really a thing. First attempts are always kinda rough.

Like, the Andromeda movie night is "hammy bad acting" done right. (Or good acting done right, if you choose the other option.) The FFX seagull laughter scene was just bad all around.

For all people complaining about others not understanding the scene, it confuses me why they can’t in turn understand someone saying, “Oh yeah I know it was supposed to be cringy. Still think it’s a terrible scene.”
