I don't get why people didn't catch on to it being deliberately bad, either... then again, some of the acting in that game was bad in general (mostly on Yuna's end IMO), so maybe this just made it worse.

Oddly, this scene is even worse in Japanese. It's like listening to a pair of squawking birds.
