I've never seen a gun shop in any US shopping mall, either. A strip mall somewhere, sure, but not an indoor mall.

Some Texas indoor malls have sporting goods stores, and those usually have both rifles and pistols in stock. I bet Wyoming has them, too, but that's probably just because it's the only other state I can think of that still has drive-thru liquor stores. ^_^

the idea of drive thru liquor store makes me laugh at its absurdity, appreciate its efficiency, but overall concerns me for the fate of pedestrians and drivers (assuming there's people fool enough to crack a bottle open upon receipt).

Australia has them everywhere!

They're still around in Ohio too. Can't buy wine on a Sunday because God disapproves (Christian-centric legislature, lol), but every other day of the week you can feel free to drive through this open store and order a case of beer to take with you on the road.

I'm in Ohio. Both malls I go to have sporting stores that sell guns.

I've never seen a gun store in a shopping mall either.

I grew up in Washington State, which is pretty liberal, and I'm honestly not sure where you would have gone to get a gun. I know the Walmarts used to carry rifles... but you can't even get a gun at a pawn shop in WA anymore.

I currently live in Idaho where gun ownership is a way of life but you still have to go out of your way to get a gun. We got a Cabela's a couple years ago and that is the most mainstream place I can think of that carries guns. Otherwise you still have to go to a pawn shop or an actual gun shop, neither of which are generally part of a mall or even a shopping strip. Although that could just as easily be coincidence as zoning/regulations.
