Lilo and Stitch is a bit more well known, and I love it to bits, but Brother Bear is very, very underrated tbh and not as big. Which is a shame because I think it's a real gem of a movie.

Though to be fair to Frozen it hit at the height of tumblr's 'everything I love is super-progressive even when it's not' phase and I can't really blame it for that. The movie itself is fun, but it's not the first to tackle sisterly relationships, however it's not a bad thing that it's another one that does.

Idk I just feel like it's the new cool thing to trash Frozen as if it's The Worst garbage EVER when it's just a fun Princess movie with added superpowers.

My son sang that with his classmates at his 6th grade "graduation" and I know some motherfucker is going to troll me in 2 years when he graduates high school by playing it so I break down and cry. Our oldest graduates high school next month and I already can't handle that.

I never even got to see it in cinema's over here because it was marketed so poorly, it basically came and went by the time I'd heard about it.

So damn many movies are like that. I watch like 'trailers of 2018' or whatever sometimes on YouTube and i have never heard of 99 percent of the movies. And they're not even wee, indie, foreign films or anything, they're just mainstream *stuff*.

Most of them never come to my local theater, either.

Oh yeah I have that problem with some US movies, they'll only play in selected cinema's so it's like 'I guess I'll wait for the DvD or movie-channels'.

Yup. For me it's 'wait for torrents to have it', because i can't afford to buy every movie that looks interesting, and i don't have cable.
