I was a fan way back from pre-kickassia, but bailed on the site as a whole after the first exodus (I still watch some content creators directly through youtube but have largely not thought about Channel Awesome in years) and this whole thing is like... ironically enough, ruined nostalgia for me. "Hey remember all these dumb things you loved in high school? The people in them were either miserable or making other people miserable!"

Guru Larry is a shining beacon of humor in all of this though.

I didn't even know Guru Larry was part of them until all this went down. I'd never heard of him in their context, only on his own waggish channel.
