Wow, you're pretty much proving my point here with this level of crazy over-reaction. Cap's the guy in charge in his own movies and the Avengers movies. He's calling the shots. Everyone in-universe listens to him and respects his opinion far more than that of any other character, Iron Man included. He pulled the rest of the team together in the first Avengers movie and led the team to victory. In subsequent movies, he is the voice of reason and the big damn hero and the purveyor of Marvel Symbolism to the audience. There's nothing wrong with any of these things, and in fact, it's how it should be. But irrational Steve stans will piss and moan and seethe over every Tony scene as if that somehow makes Steve's arc not exist anymore. It's sad.

Captain America: Civil war should have been Cap's movie. Instead, we had to spend half of it dealing with Tony being soooo guilty for shit HE did (and blaming it on others). And what happened at the end? Did Tony learn anything? As we see in Spiderman, nope! He is doing the same shit.

This is some next level delusion. Civil War felt more like an Avengers film, it barely delved into Cap's story or the absolute gravity and pathos of his situation with Bucky. Instead, a good chunk of it was spent on Tony. This is a very, very common criticism of CW, I'm amazed someone's actually trying to argue otherwise. Also, for someone supposedly neutral, you sure seem invested in insisting Tony isn't the golden boy, when he absolutely is. He's Marvel's meal ticket, everyone knows this.

...you're surprised that "Civil War," a movie about a rift between the Avengers, didn't focus exclusively on Cap. That's some willful misinterpretation of several years of marketing there. Of course, you're still mixing up "in universe characterization" and "Disney marketing decisions" too, so I'll totally buy that you thought the Civil War in Civil War was going to be between Steve's love for Bucky and Steve's angst for Bucky.

nayrt but yeah it's a little disappointing when the movie "Captain America: Civil War" isn't focused on Captain America. If they wanted it to be another Avengers movie, it should have been "Avengers: Civil War".

I'm not surprised, where did you even get that impression? I knew the second they announced they were adapting Civil War that it'd be nothing but a Tonyfest because he's the cashcow. As my comment implied. Pay attention, nonny.

Wow, you're dumb.
