People seem to think this is the obvious solution... but it's not?

Writing original fiction can be pretty hard even if you RP a lot. It's work. What's entertaining as RP with a friend often doesn't work as a stand-alone story, which is one reason why so many fanfics that are based on RP suck ass.

It's also not social in the same way. I write more original fiction now, but I used to RP more. I miss the RP; the original fiction's not a replacement because I'm doing it alone.
