I collect Japanese teacups. Not large scale but if I find one I particularly like and it's not unreasonable expensive I'll get it. I'd like to learn to throw and decorate some as well.

I used to collect knives and daggers but I lack the space to display them properly, a lot of the things I'm interested in are illegal to own where I live and I can't justify to myself spending a lot of money on things that have no practical use. I would still love to own some very special ones ...

Neat! By that do you mean a particular style of Japanese tea cup or just any tea cup from Japan?

I actually always struggle with the word "cup" in relation to Japanese tea bowls but it's the only proper translation I think?
What I mean are several types of chawan. I like various shapes and patterns for them.
