OP, I'm so sorry you're going through that. It sucks. I don't know what it feels like to have someone ditch you with original worlds like that, but I had a friend drop me like a hot potato after years of RPing my OTP (which was hers for a while too, until it wasn't... which I think was the beginning of the end). It was hard for me to accept that her interests had shifted.

But I did eventually get over it and move on to something else. That wasn't something I could force myself to do, and it didn't happen the way I expected it to. I'd say if it still gives you more satisfaction than pain, keep writing it for yourself, and like others have said, maybe it can lead you somewhere good.
