I'd just like to point out that in the secret I specifically said "literature". I'm referring to the book, not the movie. If you judge the entire story by the movie alone, you have missed an incredible read, not to mention an enormous amount of extra story that was cut for time.

For what it's worth, I agree with you! And the Rhett/Scarlett romance is actually my least favorite thing about the book/movie (well, obviously apart from the racism stuff, but that's another category). I actually find her relationship with Ashley a lot more... interesting in a way? (Not as a romance).
Scarlet/Mellie is the REAL important relationship anyway (+ Scarlet/Tara ofc).
