* Do you have a tumblr or website where you're regularly posting your work? If not, I'd start one. Network with other artists as well as connect with the public.

* Right now, you're asking people to cough up some dough for an unknown artist, and why would they do that when there's so much content out there for free? Think about what you can offer that sets yourself apart from the crowd.

* When you're posting examples of the artwork you're proposing to provide people in exchange for their money, putting a bare bones sketch that looks like scribbles to non-artists first is probably not a good idea. This is supposed to be the free sample that gets people interested, so show them the good stuff. WIP sketches are for people who are already familiar with the end product. It's not terribly interesting when you aren't familiar with the end product.

* I don't mean to sound harsh, but people who want to do art but can't afford to do it without financial support from others are a dime a dozen. Sad stories are sad, but that's for gofundme and one time donations, not regular monthly support. Telling people they can make your dreams a reality is... well, probably not as enticing as you think. It's not that people don't like to help, it's that most of the time, their money is limited and they have their own dreams to fund.

Show people what you're going to give them in exchange for their money.

* The second sketch is better, but it's out of context and hard to tell what's going on or why it's interesting. It looks unfinished. Is that what Patreon supporters are going to get from you? Why not show the first couple panels of your comic so people see the finished, final product and get an idea of whether or not it's something they want to see more of in the future?

* Consider writing your description of the comic like a blurb for a book. You know, the back cover or inside jacket copy that tells people what it's about, but in a way that grabs peoples' attention.

aaah now that you put it that way... I really do need to fix up my page. ;.;

Thanks for the honest advice. I'll try giving my page a rehaul.
