(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 12:26 am (UTC)(link)risk, transgression, power, etc, that's strong hindbrain stuff
anyway personally I hate 'cum' because it feels like a childish mispelling. 'jizz' I think should be used sparingly depending on whether it's a word the character himself would use/think. 'Seed' always seems kind of silly and overwrought to me, though. I tend to use 'come,' or just semen. Or descriptions that aren't epithets, like 'the white mess on his skin' or whatever.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 12:50 am (UTC)(link)I do endorse their post though (even if it's not correct, it was definitely where I was coming from).

(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 02:45 am (UTC)(link)I was trying to say that the seeming contradiction between actual repulsion about pregnancy and hotness in a word vaguely connected to pregnancy makes a lot of sense in terms of the ways brains can process and eroticize our fears around sexual things
it's not the same as having a kink and definitely doesn't ""prove"" you have one or whatever, but it's probably the same underlying mental process. Way different points on the same spectrum.
Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 03:45 am (UTC)(link)Fertility fetishes are okay, but please leave aside pseudoscience and pop psychology to keep accusing people of things that are disgusting to them. It's kinda rude, and not a way to gain friends. :(
Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 04:48 am (UTC)(link)Well. So. I agree. But I don't think our argument is about pop psychology or about insisting people are secretly into stuff they say they aren't. If the secret was just "i am horrified by pregnancy", it would be an entirely different matter.
It's specifically the fact that OP said that using "seed" as a euphemism for cum is hot. That is the specific reason that AYRT and I thought this was the case. We are not doing what you said we are doing, at all.
Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 05:28 am (UTC)(link)If I may assume, it seems that you want to clarify to OP that the reason they find 'seed' more suitable is because of a latent pregnancy fetish (despite OP having ultimate authority on that matter, and saying that they don't in the comments).
But may I present a more charitable explanation for why OP finds the use of 'seed' as better? It's simply because 'seed' is a regular word, and doesn't have any of the jokey mood that 'cum' and 'jizz' would. The word choice sounds like something that might come out from a proper printed novel.
OP swears they don't have a pregnancy fetish, and for that reason I'm willing to abort this conversation.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-02 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)So I think it's really just a little more nuanced, is all.
