I think I've said this here before but "living at home" to mean living with your parents. Everybody lives at home except for homeless people!

This is true. But at the same time, when I didn't live with my parents, I always thought of myself as having two homes: where I was and where my parents were. But I've always been a homebody.

Same. My mom's made comments about her house being my home and it's like no...I'm a grown adult now, I have my own home, your house is not my home anymore.

Social justice warrior. A legitimate concept, but I mostly hear it used by people who hate social justice altogether and don't like being told not to say racist/sexist/etc. things.

Anytime I hear anyone use that phrase I automatically think "well, their opinion can be ignored". I've never once heard it used by anyone other than bigots whining about being called out on their bigotry.

Well, you're right in that people who use the term are generally the type that don't like being told what to think/do/say full stop.

I've definitely seen people online who fit the bill for the extreme end of it.

But at the same time it feels like it gets tossed around a lot for any social issues at all that people think aren't worth any time(i.e: all of them).

I don't know if this counts, but I hate a lot of Tumblr writing conventions.

- the no caps kinda tired and sarcastic style. like god RandomName sorry everyone isn't as dumb as you just go do some arbitrary thing i've decided is stupid

- people who write themselves giving advice or instructions, interspersed with questions that are supposed to be from the reader, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘶𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. Because even when you're explaining something in writing, you need to make sure the reader feels like they're being lectured at and repeatedly interrupted.

I haven't heard it in quite a while, but people who pronounce nuclear as "nuke-ya-ler." It's one of the only language pet peeves I have.

Whilst. I don't even know why, but it annoys the heck out of me. When I find it on a fic I Control+F it and if it comes up too many times compared to the length of the fic, I'll just stop reading it.

Lesbophobia.

When people talk about real homophobia against lesbians, they call it homophobia. When people talk about lesbophobia, they mean "If you don't headcanon my favorite character as a lesbian you're lesbophobic, and if you ship her with a man you need to kys" or "If you suggest that a wlw who hasn't disclosed her exact sexuality might be bi or pan, you're lesbophobic" or "If you suggest that lesbians are human beings with flaws instead of perfect pure angels, you're lesbophobic."
