Social justice warrior. A legitimate concept, but I mostly hear it used by people who hate social justice altogether and don't like being told not to say racist/sexist/etc. things.

Anytime I hear anyone use that phrase I automatically think "well, their opinion can be ignored". I've never once heard it used by anyone other than bigots whining about being called out on their bigotry.

Well, you're right in that people who use the term are generally the type that don't like being told what to think/do/say full stop.

I've definitely seen people online who fit the bill for the extreme end of it.

But at the same time it feels like it gets tossed around a lot for any social issues at all that people think aren't worth any time(i.e: all of them).
