Occasionally, when I see people liking some of the art I post I check out their blogs. And if they have several of those "omg don't be a terrible person who just likes art, you have to REBLOG IT" posts on their blog I tend to feel more than a bit bitter because I get an average of 1 reblog opposed to many more likes.

There are quite a few of them, actually. I don't even really agree because I think guilt tripping people into reblogging stuff is annoying at best, but if someone plasters their blog with those posts and then doesn't practise what they preach... ugh. Talk about being a hypocrite.

Firstly, I hate those posts and every time I see one I weigh the pros and cons of unfollowing the person who posted it; secondly, the damn cheek! What hypocrisy!

I only reblog art if the artist's name is prominent on it, or there is a link to the artist's page in the notes or something.

So i don't reblog a lot of art, because it seems people like to *remove that*, which is infuriating.

I do tinyeye and google searches for art all the time to find the original artist/post, but i can't always.
