Aw, OP, I'm sure your stuff doesn't suck. I try to leave comments on all the fics I read, but for some reason, I feel weird leaving a comment on a fic that's years old. I also feel weird when I find an author I like, read all their stuff in a day, and want to comment on every single fic they wrote. I know it's a stupid fear because people generally appreciate comments, but IDK, I feel like I come off as stalker-ish or something.

Most people think it's cool and flattering when someone comments on all their fics. Anyone who would find it stalker-ish is just a complainer who would complain no matter what you did, tbh.

My god, when people do this with my stuff I figuratively bounce around the room with joy.

Yes, maybe the author won't see your comments, or see them and think it's odd, but for 95% of authors, multiple comments will literally make their day.
