I watch the DC movies. Mostly because I fucking love Batman. Also because I keep hoping THIS will be the DC movie that turns it all around & makes me love DC.

MCU at heart though. They're far more entertaining to me. Even the darker films are fluffy compared to DC & I just. . . the world is so grimdark right now in real life, I don't want my superheroes to be the same.

I hear you. I love the MCU but DC got me into comics in the first place. It hurts my soul that the DCEU is a load of rubbish. I'd love to have strong films from both but it always feels like when one is on the up, the other is down. Around the time of Batman Begins/The Dark Knight people forget it felt like everyone loved Batman but was sick of X-Men films (yes, I know...not MCU but still Marvel.) Then obviously Iron Man was a rather unexpected hit and the rest is history.
