I see where this OP is coming from because I feel like this sometimes. I write of lot of obscure stuff and it feels like throwing stuff into a void when you see hits but no kudos or comments - you wonder if people have just clicked on it by mistake.

The comments in this thread are comforting though <3 and I would say that if you are enjoying writing it, OP, and at least a handful of people are made happy by your fic, it's worth it.
