Babe is 100x better than Gordy.

A Bug's Life is better than Antz.

I slightly prefer The Emperor's New Groove to The Road to El Dorado.

The Prestige is a masterpiece and I can only barely remember The Illusionist.

Zootopia is better than Sing.

I definitely liked Antz better than A Bug's Life, which is considered blasphemy because I live in Pixar country.

I had some friends who preferred The Illusionist because they judged everything based on how historically accurate they thought the costumes were and not by the really important stuff, like "Does David Bowie play Nikola Tessla in this movie?"

I enjoyed The Illusionist and *hated* The Prestige, despite my mad love for the Goblin King going incognito as Tesla. I mean, I can kinda make it work that HE is the supernatural vector in the film, because otherwise that is a genre shift and bad faith plot twist!! the whole thing is supposed to be about presdigiditation and ****stage trickery****, putting in actual magic/sufficiently advanced technology is a massive script cheat and violation of the spectator's good faith as far as I am concerned. And eurgh, double dose of dour Christian Bale.
And I like Rufus Sewell, and 'The Illusionist' pulls a charming whole-plot misdirection/twist/con which is nice meta.

Can Zootopia and Sing really be considered twin films? I watched and liked both, but they were quite different in tone and topic.
