I HATE THOSE SO MUCH. They hurt like hell and they're so gross when they finally pop. :(

Good luck, my friend. Once it pops and drains, a dab of antibiotic ointment like Neosporin helps speed up the healing process.

Ugh, I'm so sorry, nonny. I got one during my last period and it finally popped. Was super disgusting, but at least it's gone.

It's things like this that make me heave a sigh of relief. I only get them once a year or so, but it's always an EVENT. A very very painful event. A very very painful "oh god how much more can come out of this" event.

Wow @ all of you talking like this is common, been having a period for nearly 20 years and I had no idea that was a thing. :o

Are we talking exacerbated acne or friction sores in creases, or full on spontaneous boils?

It was never a problem for me until I was in my late 20s. It's a full on boil - starts off as a sore spot that's tender and warm, then becomes a red lump that forms a pocket of... I don't know if it's pus, tbh. It doesn't have that awful rotten smell of pus, but it's a white viscous liquid. The whole thing hurts like hell until it erupts and the white stuff oozes out, followed by blood. They usually form near the top of my pubic mound, but also frequently in my inner thighs.

I shower daily, don't shave, don't use soaps/perfumes/douches and I don't wear tight clothing. I don't know why the hell this happens but I hate it. :(

I have one on my inner thigh right now! Had to pop it yesterday and put a bandage over it so my pants wouldn't get a bloodstain. D:
