Idk, certain British stuff like this kinda really bugs me when it comes to certain fandoms. Like, as someone who’s not white but still a US citizen, reading a Mexican or Cuban character having tea and biscuits or some very obvious British thing is suuuuuper fucking jarring.

I dunno about Cuban, but the Mexican equivalent to tea and biscuits might be coffee and sweet bread.
