Arranged marriage fic is goooooooood but it requires very specific ships to work well (IMO)

and I'm not sure that particular ship would work for me, personally. It's certainly a bold decision to ship them and I respect it but not for me.

or maybe seeing the design outside of the art style makes you realise that it's over designed?

i don't know the artist but looking through their deviantart over designing seems pretty much their entire thing. it works with their well with their extravagant paintings, but i can see how an actual person wearing it could look odd.
