celebrities tend to wear a size up when they have to do a lot of standing/walking around because your feet swell

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
But those look like she's a little girl wearing her mom's shoes.

it's a thing

Ugh, those look awful. But as a dancer I get it - this type of shoe with the sharp triangle tip does get very uncomfortable after a while. That's why I only wear rounded or even open shoes. No need to wear them a size too big then.

Jesus, she's got stick legs.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
They're probably not that bad. She's doing this thing where she's awkwardly standing up on her tiptoes and arching her back so that she's coming out of her shoes a little.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I did a quick google image search and it looks like her shoes usually fit just fine. Or at least aren't visibly too big.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I figured it was just that the photo managed to catch an awkward angle/pose.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Do people really consider her a style icon?
Especially after seeing her wedding dress, which was painfully plain and seemed to not fit her well. Whereas I thought Kate's dress was executed perfectly.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Her wedding dress was such a disappointment. I mean, it was nice and classic and all that, but I was expecting something with a little more pizzazz. Her veil was pretty though.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-21 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
I don't usually like veils, but I liked hers a lot.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh god, thank you. I felt like I was the only one who thought her dress was pretty much a white sack with a boat neck. Audrey Hepburn inspiration my ASS.

Her hair, makeup, and tiara were lovely - but the dress was just there.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, yeah. I mean, I'm not a fashion buff but every time she appears in public the British press and fashion blogs talk about what she's wearing, who designed it, where to buy it, etc. I actually liked her wedding gown and thought the simplicity was refreshing. I agree it looked a bit loose on her, but then she's very skinny and I guess that makes it more difficult?

If you can't use your future princess clout to get proper tailoring then what is it good for.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, good point.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought the dress was beautiful. It was a perfect compliment to the veil, which was the star of the show, and it drew attention to her face. She looked absolutely stunning imo.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Same. I think the dress could have fit better, but I like that it was plain. It was all about the veil.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
She looked pretty, but definitely did not beat Kate. Kate looked truly extraordinary.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Her dress was downright matronly. She's 36, ffs. You have a Brit designer from Givenchy and you choose a design that hides nearly your entire shape? There's nothing wrong with being modest - heck, the C of E ceremony and a royal wedding means covered arms and shoulders, no bare cleavage, for the most part. But this was a big yawn.

I loved the concept for the veil (flowers of every Commonwealth nation, hand-embroidered) but thought the whole thing hid her entire body even more.

Kate's dress (and veil) was gorgeous, vintage-inspired, lacy, and flattering.

Not related to your secret OP, but just seeing pictures of them make me so happy. :) It was so good to have a big news event focused on happiness and love and positvity yesterday. They seem so in love. I hope they have wonderful lives together. :) :) :)

I feel weird about Meghan Markle. Whenever anyone stans her, I roll my eyes so hard, but whenever anyone criticises her I think its usually uncalled for. It's that bad, and I like her fashion.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-20 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Aaaand it's begun.

Obviously no possible harm can come of criticising the appearance of a woman who's married into the Royal family.

(Anonymous) 2018-05-21 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
It isn't Diana's appearance I've ever criticised, if that's your referenece point.
