Wow. Does your family do that kind of thing often? It seems really rude and presumptuous that they don't care what you want. You have my permission to cancel, turn off the lights, lock the door and have a quiet night in by yourself. Phrase it somewhat passive aggressively if you want, i.e. "Hello everyone! I know my family invited you all over to my house, but actually I'm not prepared for company right now, so I'm calling it off. Maybe my family can host a gathering at their house if they want? Thanks everyone, and hope you're all having a good weekend!"

And seriously, put your foot down with your family about not pulling this crap again, or they'll just use you as a doormat forever.

Yeah they're like this all the time. I'm normally better with boundaries but they're using grandma to guilt me. She thought they'd sorted things out with me because they lied to her.
