Real life hanami are crowded drunken booze fests. I like the idea of a sweet picnic under the cherry blossoms and feeling quiet and zen.

I would have this fantasy version of hanami party with several of my favorite Roman emperors.

Hadrian would be the top invite (and his boyfriend Antinous). Hadrian's definitely my favorite! But all the Five Good Emperors would be invited. Marcus Aurelius for sure. I also rather like Julian the Apostate, kind of interesting to think where things would be religiously if he hadn't died in battle so soon.

Would they get along? Not sure about that, haha, that's a whole lotta emperor on one picnic blanket. As a bonus, I'm also a big Alexander the Great fan.

It would be a pretty interesting hanami...

I was just about to reply Lucius Cornelius Sulla to this question. lol.

He'd probably prefer the drunken booze fest, though. Also the picnic basket would have a gun or some kind of weapon just in case.
