How is messy hair after a fight necessarily unattractive?
Dirtied armor?
Battle scars?
Leaner muscles?
Sweat on the face?
I think all of those things could be attractive, sexy even, in addition to adding a hint of realism.

Happens to male superheroes, and most women still think they're hot.
