Fuck that. He was THE voice of GamerGate. He represented every shitty little dude you ever met who grills you on how well you know whatever video game or comic or movie franchise you just said you liked. He was every greasy motherfucker who says "transgender people are mentally ill, sorry the science says so!"

I'll admit that celebrating his death might not be a socially acceptable response. But it doesn't make him not scum, and I'll speak ill of the dead all I want.

No, they were. He lost a lot of goodwill when he threw in with GamerGate so he faked a cancer diagnosis to get sympathy. But he was still an awful, shitty person, directing his fans to attack Obsidian when they removed a transphobic limerick a Kickstarter backer had written for Pillars of Eternity.

When he'd rebuilt his popularity, he was magically cured. It was like one of those old deities that need prayer to exist. And then his numbers started going down again and guess what? He "relapsed!"

The way I see it, there's two possibilities here. Either he actually DID die, or he killed off his internet presence for sympathy points. Either way, good riddance.
