Can't he be all those things. Yes, he's crazy. Yes, his plan is stupid. He's so focused on this one idea he hasn't thought of other things he can do with those infinity stones. But he's still nuanced and complicated.

Exactly. I thought all in all that he was a better developed character than the usual super villain -or most action villains we usually get served up in theaters. The MCU in particular was pretty weak in the villain department, but then they gave us Thanos and Killmonger.
